Welcome to Norton School
Welcome to the Norton School website. Please take the time to get to know our school.
Norton School is a caring, professional learning community composed of approximately 60 teachers and support staff. Each day, almost 500 students in grades one through six enter our doors. In a supportive and challenging learning environment, students are encouraged by our dedicated teaching staff to become knowledgeable, self directed, and life long learners. A dedicated staff works to provide opportunities for students to achieve curricular expectations through the use of data driven decision making, best practices, a standards based curriculum, and continual professional development. Norton School remains committed to our advancing technological needs and resources. Smart boards, document cameras and a student computer lab are all resources utilized for instruction throughout our school.

In educating the whole child, Norton School students are active members of the Norton community. Student Council, Recycling Club, Morning Announcements, and Safety Patrol are all led by students. Our whole school meetings are a time we use to celebrate our accomplishments and encourage participation in our community.

Throughout its history, Norton School has been known as and remains a community school, benefiting from the assistance and involvement of the Norton families. Whether it is through the PTA, Blue Ribbon Readers, library volunteers, Helping Hands, or many of the other opportunities available, Norton parents are involved members of our learning community. As an inclusive school, Norton strives to meet individual students' needs in an accepting learning environment for all

Together at Norton, we celebrate our accomplishments, share our work and learn to work together.
