School Counselors

Interim School Counselor

Ms. Kathy Scully

Welcome! The Comprehensive School Counseling Program at Chapman Elementary School is designed to support students’ social, personal and academic development.  These areas are the foundation for future success. In addition to crisis counseling, Cheshire Public Schools has a developmental guidance program.  Through this program, I go into every classroom and teach life skills and character education.  The guidance program helps children feel safe, comfortable and supported so that they are available to learn. In addition to classroom lessons, small group counseling and individual counseling services are available. I provide a safe, caring environment that invites the students to overcome academic, personal or social obstacles in their development.  If there is anything you would like me to know about your child or if you have any questions, I welcome you to email or call me. I am looking forward to working with you and your children, and making sure they have a successful experience at Chapman Elementary School.
